Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do." - Steve Jobs (1955-2011), Founder of Apple Computer and Pixar Studios
Like the little bird I painted I am just trying to stay on top of everything. I could make me crazy, if I wasn't a bit touched anyway.
PINTEREST IS PERFECT FOR ARTISTS!
Here are 5 Creative Ways To Share Your Work:
1. Use as a digital portfolio of your work. Compiling from various sites on the web would be even better, as you are creating connections to your various work and licensed products across the WWW. If you are visiting a gallery or client, the ease of editing and adapting your portfolio online means you don’t have to go through all the updating directly on your ipad or tablet!
2. Use as a reference pinboard. Gather ideas for your creative projects. Whether you are a graphic designer, illustrator, interior designer or painter, using this as a vision board/reference board for future artwork ideas or paintings is perfect! No need to print out pictures or rip out magazines when its digital and therefore portable! Set it up to show on your tablet or ipad as you work!
3. As a progression board. Share the progress and development of your work with your clients, friends or audience. Want to share the evolution of an artwork or the completion of a project you are working on for a client? This is great for instant and complete overview in a visual state. Followers are able to like, repin, comment and even share your pin across other social networks.
4. As a storyboard. Whether you are a book writer, animator or illustrator for this would be a great digital aid for the progress and adaption of your story project. Pin photos, notes and story progressions. With Pinterest, moving pictures around makes it a simple and easy to use tool for this.
5. To crowdsource ideas – If you are working with a team on a project or idea, this is great for sharing, collaboration and adaption of a project. Mulitiple contributors allow a team to share their content together on one board.

Michigan Sky painting Demo
| 30 May, 2012 01:08
I start with a thumb nail sketch with some color notes so later if I want to do a larger work in the studio I have more detail.
Put in the row of trees.
I add the distant grass.

Just get over it, we all fall down, get up and get moving again. Can you stand the heat of change? Just how flexible can you afford to be? Are you Evolving?
1. How many No's do you get before you quite or are you so afraid of a no you don't even start? When I was in sales making my first sales call, I told myself okay I will make 100 calls and if no one buys from me I will give up and try something different. Gee Whiz someone actually bought something from me after just 50 calls. Than was only 49 No's.
2. Do you price your art by comparing it to how others price theirs? Price your art by what you know you are worth.
3. How are you morphing, emerging, growing and learning? Creative people are always becoming so get over it and start your art career today.
